WORST EXPERIENCE WITH UNITED EVER -

STILL PROUD.

Just cant believe that, it was just meant to be. those two late goals city score are ranked up there with istanbul 05 and munich 1999........unreal. fair play and it must feel unreal to be a REAL city fan.

for a team that have spent more in 4 years than we have spent in 25.......to then win the league against a relegation candidate side on goal difference in the last two minutes isnt all that but fair play to them.

fact is we have had a mix of not good enough performances and unlucky injuries.

this defeat will be good for us. soak it up and prepare for united coming out all guns blazing next season. this challenge is good for us, it will make us better.

2009 CL final for me

............................

Rome was bad mate, I was there. Last years CL final at wembley was bad as well, yet agian I was there to watch barca rape us.

But today is much worse. Worst loss I've had to incur in my time.

From elation to despair in 20 seconds.

I don't think today was that bad. Everyone knew (deep down) city would win. The second they got 5 mins added time I knew, was always expecting the worst.

Going into the game yea i agree. But with 3 minutes to play with them getting two goals was a kick in the nuts and then some.

It was written in the stars for CIty

The fact the final whistle for the Bolton game was blew right before City's 2nd just messed it all up for us.

If Gareth Barry said he knew QPR were safe then no doubt the QPR players also did.. You could see from QPR's restart after City's second they knew they were safe already

Been a MUFC fan for too long to dwell on all the really bad feelings (26 years of the greatest entertainment with no reward gets a little worrying).

Today was not too bad, after all like most MUFC fans with kid brothers at least you know they will be happy tonight. Happy brother, happy families.

At the end of the season MUFC collected one of their highest points totals whilst playing most of the season sans an EPL standard RB, GK or striker.

Cannot emphasise how much the club need to sort out the major RB problem. I know a number have been looked at (as indeed are LBs) but it needs sorting soon. With Evra's age a consideration a long-term replacement LB needs to be considered as well, but RB is far more imperative. Smalling and Jones cannot cover in major matches against bigger teams - besides it also means MUFC are not getting the best out of either of them putting them out there acting as a, makeshift, band aid.

More importantly though is that the finding a striker that knows where the net is has been disguised in the past 4/5 seasons by the contributions from midfielders like Ronaldo, Berbatov and Rooney. Hernandez looked promising but is really just a super-sub type player. When he starts he fades to soon - and the less said about his offside/onside ratio the better. Wellbeck - not good enough.

The GK is another key area that needs addressing. Lindegaard is at least reliable. But De Gea is never going to be the right person for this club. Another Barthez I'm afraid.

So all in all MUFC need a decent EPL experienced GK, RB and a goal poacher in the mould of Rush, Lineker, Greaves, Clough or RvN. At least that will help them live with City - and that is only if they stand still. They are a good team and were always the most likely winners of this season. MUFC did extraordinarily well considering.
