How long will it take to forgive WBA?

I am not one to bear grudges, but this may take a while.

I put a significant part of the blame for our failure at the first knock out stage at the door of our near neighbours. Not sure what their motivation was, but to announce that Chris Hughton was 'top of their list' to replace Roy Hodgson the day before our first leg game against Blackpool was at best thoughtless, at worst malicious, it was certainly entirely self interested.

We played probably our worst game of the season at Bloomfield Road and I do not think it was any surprise when the very tight unity and great man management of CH was knocked sideways by that announcement. Even The mighty Sir Alex would have been pushed to come up with a better pre match off putting statement. By the second leg CH had regained his control of the situation and we played very much better, but with that level of doubt in the players minds I am not surprised at the outcome in that one game.

Poor show WBA, you should be ashamed.

As for some of these posters, no hope of decent behaviour. So no need for consideration. Dismissed!

If you ran a club, wanted another clubs manager, but also needed to get around teh rule stopping you approaching the man directly without permission, you might firstly do your best to make the move mre attractive by derailing the promotion hopes of the other club. There was not coincidence in WBA's announcement. Not forgiven yet, and may not be until their owners change.
