So then, will Bale be starting at left back next season with livermore and sandro in the middle and modric on the left (2 up top) ?
I'm for it.
Have we got a new formation then ?

I'm sure Bale isn't up for it.
Neither am I really.

I have always said that moving Bale back to Lb every now and again when he's becoming predictable could work wonders. If we could find a natural left winger to back up or a player who can be utilised across a number of positions including LW I'd be more than happy to see Bale back at left back.
Much harder to defend against him that way, that's for sure.

i couldnt see much of the game today, but of what i did i thought sandor and livermore looked superb. id be wanting to base the team around that next season personally.

Not saying every game, but against certain opposition, it presses them back and gives them less confidence to push forward.

Bale is a useless defender, leave well alone, BAE will be back next season, so why upset the applecart.

no way, modric wasn't influential and having 2 DM's is not needed. all we need is sandro

All this because we beat a Fulham side with nothing to play for?
Not at all, Bale is at his best on the left side of midfield. There's no way we'd get away with having 3 at the back for the majority of the season.

talking formations will have too wait till the summers fun is over....id say...
one thing i will say....play only 1 DFM and i can see 60's facing a struggle to get in....

i dont see livermore as a defensive midfield player though. he could eaily play abox to box role, and can contribute as play maker - he has a good range of passing.
