GLAD TO BE OUT OF IT

Well I for one ain't shedding any tears to be out of a league that is run for the favoured few, motivated by obscene amounts of money, governed by people I wouldn't trust with a penny of mine.

Look we have deserved to go down, no question but yesterday's refereeing performance just summed it my belief of how uneven a playing field The Greed Is Good Barclays Premier League really is.Can you really imagine that goal being allowed or the penalty being given against any of the blue-eyed teams (and I 'm sure that I don't have to name them)?

But it wasn't just down to yesterday. It was down to throwing away a 2 goal lead to WBA, losing at home to the likes of Norwich, Sunderland, Aston Villa. Rolling over and getting tanked by Chelsea and The Rags at home.

Anyway, I for one, am looking forward to next season. Winning games, competing on a level playing field, a better style of football where we might actually keep possession for more than 2 seconds.

If we clear out the out of contract big earners and keep together the better of the existing players and blend them with the youth coming through, then I feel optimistic.

The Premier League is all about money and prestige but who can honestly say over the last 3 to 4 years that they have experienced any enjoyment consistently?

I've only got a fib with Davies because he injured Cleverley and practically killed off alot of his season. He was bang in form as well which irked me off even more.

Pot and kettle. Did you see Evans's assault on Stuart Holden, which was more than 12 months ago? Suffer from memory loss do you Arab????

Sounds like a sour argument to me OP. You wouldn't have said all of this had you sneaked it yesterday

Err wrong actually. Was not confident prior to August and said so to those who know me. Also said on numerous occassions during the season that I wouldn't be unduly concerned if we slipped out of the league. The Premier LEAGUE IS NOT the be all and end all of professional football!!!!!

I have to disagree with Shanton. I'm not glad to be out of it at all. Now unless we get back up our best players will be pinched by the lower half Premier teams; much like we used to do.

If we don't get back at the first time of asking, then imo we'll be down here for a while.

Owen has a good record on the whole, so hopefully it won't be too long before we are back in the Prem.

We can argue until the cows come home about why we were relegated but the fact is, if Foy was a half decent ref, we would still be in the Premiership. It's simple.

Sorry, SWIE but that's papering over the cracks.

Over 38 games we weren't good enough. It's got nothing to do with Chris Foy.

And I don't honestly think Coyle's record is that good.

If you take his time at Falkirk out of the equation (he only managed them for 19 games) hiw win rate is about one in three.

And that's poor.

I'm guessing that (A) English isn't your mother tongue or (B) and this is the more likely option, you're having a spot of bother using a conventional "non-simian friendly" keyboard.

You just keep bashing away, mate and the nice man might come and throw a banana through your bars.....

Yes, but luckily for you, you have squad depth and could easily replace him. Unfortunately for us, Jonny Evans and some random clogger injured our 2 best midfielders and put them out for the whole season.

We'd be a little more justified in hating Evans, to be honest. Then again, I don't really give a toss what you think anyway. Cheerio.

Sorry but when I want a comment from a red I will ask for one, but don't hold your breath. And if I were you (which Thank God I'm not) I would be more concerned about your over-hyped team winning jack this year
