Gough is a complete plank, alongside his sidekick Duham. How can he say he supports follows Spurs, and then says he wants Chelsea to win the CL.

Not a very loyal supporter is he.

I saw your article yesterday and was having a think about it this morning on my walk.

The thing with goughie is, he's massively proud to be a yorkshireman, and massively proud to be an englishman. In fact, I struggle to think of anyone more proud to represent England.

Personally, I don't share his view on this point, but I suspect that he thinks that spurs have had their chances and blown them whereas chelsea have taken there's and as a result are representing england in the world's biggest club game.

I didnt hear his interview, but it may be on that basis that he's decided he has to support chelsea as england's representative during the game.

Like I say, I dont share his view and will be cheering for Bayern, but I think I can understand why he might think differently.

i was just laughing at the contradiction of having the audacity to name spurs as the team you follow.. and then want the worst possible scenario to happen to them.

seems a good guy...met him at friend aboves 30th birthday party...which happened to be in our local cricet clubs clubhouse...he was fab with all the members there....went up too the members room away from the private function too have a chat...sign auotgraphs...

but yes...you can't call ya self a spur...and want chels too win...
