Hello, Leeds fan in peace!
Just come to gauge your opinion on Paul Green who it looks like we are going to sign imminentley.
What kind of player is he? Some of you say you will miss him others not so bothered.
Just any information would be nice, all I know is he has had some good games against Leeds when he's played!

Hard working midfielder, always gives 100% and always follows the manager's instructions so Colin would love him. Best position rt side midfield but has filled in at Rt back for us. Supports both defence and attack. Downside is not a great first touch but he tends to make up for that with effort. A favourite at Donny and here but I suspect he will go down in Donny supporters esteem if he signs for you.

Doppler you've got a very good mid field player there, he can also play full back, that's if you get a lot of injuries. He's a great lad to have around the dressing room, he's a box to box mid field player, he also has a lot of energy. We couldn't keep him cause we couldn't afford his wage bill. we've been lowering our wage bill for the last 2 years, and we're still doing it, by bringing in lower league players.
If he does sign for you, all the best with him, cause he's a very good pro. If Warnock does sign the right players for you lot I can see you in the top 6, and you've started by adding Green, at least your club's got ambition.

Pearce and hopefully Green and Ward shows a bit of intent. But we have not recovered from the loss of Howson, Gradel and Johnson...SO I dont dare use the words Leeds and ambition in the same sentence

I like him. I think he needs to be used in his correct position to get the best out of him which is in central midfield. Great utility player, as mentioned above, he can play to a decent level in a few positions. Will be missed by me.
On a personal note - I hope he doesn't sign for you.

He's Irish.....and his name is Green .....which is nice and handy.
But he's not going to the Euro's
Which is probably Karma if he joins the dirties.

Capable.

Pros - lots of energy, works hard, not a trouble maker
Cons - slow, terrible first touch, not a great passer, can't tackle
I suspect I am in the minority of Derby fans but not sorry to see him go.

Prefect player for this league and one of those rare cases where player leaves without bitter fans behind him. On too high wages for us, but certainly a good player due to be able to move the ball about and having the ability to keep pushing forward.
Not one for the star pass, but otherwise got bit of everything.

Just to clarify he is not a right sided midfielder nor is he a right back. He is 'capable' as Eddie describes.
His best position is central midfield as a box to box midfielder.
Pros: Won't stop running. Excellent in the air for a small ginger lad. Versatile. Good at arriving in the box finding space and scoring a decent amount of goals for a midfielder.
Cons: He's ginger. Poor control. Sloppy passer. He started very well in his first season then never regained focus. He cant cross (consistantly). Isnt quick enough for a wide midfielder. Poor shooting from distance.
