Show I'd like to think green has some kind of contingency in place to pay the players til he gets the yay/nay over his cva bid. Won't be much of an investment if his assets are walkin out the door as he's walking in....
Sayin that,ye just don't know what they're gonna do next

AFAIK, cut price deals come in if contracts not returned too previous level.
And note who wrote today's "exclusive" - WOTR

By all accounts, there is funding in place for the players to revert back to thier normal contracts on June 1st, so the clauses won't be there come June 1st

Why would any of the cut price deals only activate if their contracts are not returned to previous levels? Can players not leave for nothing if their contract isnt honoured?
What if no one wants to buy the player at the cut price? If this happened and the cut price was dependent on the wages then the player would be stuck on the reduced wages that he didnt agree to if he couldnt walk away from the contract.
The clause makes no sense as it wouldnt be needed if Rangers didnt fulfill their obligations. Rangers players took a massive pay cut and the cut price transfer fees were probably a part of that deal.

Davie - god knows but from what we have been told by the media, that's the way it works.

Subs,
Think you are spot on, but time will tell I suppose.
Call me a traitor, but if I was playing for the team I supported in the same situation, I'd be offski. Well payed as they are, these players have relatively short careers and need to maximize their earnings while they can.
