Ok so i have a friend who is a big Huddersfield town fan and he is going to see the League 1 play off Final @ Old Trafford next Saturday afternoon he invited me and me being a general lover of the beautiful game (not sure if Huddersfield vs Peterborough qualifies as that mind) i have decided to go with him (I actually live near Huddersfield anyoo)
Anyway the point of this article, total price = £80 holy sweet Jesus!!! i've been to watch United many a time and never been charged this much so what i want to know is do United get a cut of the gate for this game since it's at our ground? would make me feel slightly better if i knew the club i support was benefiting in some way to me being ripped off
plus can anyone let me know if my seat is wirth the price N3407 as i usually (when i can get tickets) sit behind the goal.

As United's stadium is being used, I would imagine that we do get a cut of the gate

I was more interested to know what kind of cut of the gate we get.

I wasn't having a dig- it just seemed obvious that a 76,000 capacity stadium wouldn't be used for free.
I'm sure United just cover costs.

I don't know I think it's more likely we would see a profit than just cover our costs otherwise where is the incentive to have a bunch of clobbers tear up our pitch?
i think 10% of the gate plus staff costs is a reasonable amount, not sure how i could find out the actual figures though
