Are you happy?

Just want to find out from genuine Sunderland fans if they are happy with the signings of Brown and O'Shea? And Gibson possibly.

For what its worth you guys have got a quality player in O'Shea and I would have kept him any day of the week. Brown is also a great player and I hope he stays injury free.

Maybe Gibson can step up with the regular football he will get at Sunderland.

I'm absolutely delighted the way this transfer window is panning out...I really feel that we will now have a squad that is way stronger than last year , and I can't wait for the season to start.

Similarly, I am very happy although I'm concerned about Brown's quality

I haven't been overly impressed with him in the past . . . . and we haven't signed O'Shea, yet, who I rate as a better player

I don't know what's what with Darren Gibson, but from what I've seen of him ( very little ) he looks like a good prospect

I think Sunderland have done well this transfer window.

They lost Henderson and a couple of loanee's have gone back to their clubs but they have bought well and overall improved their squad.

Should be an interesting first game of the season

As a Blackburn fan all I can say is you guys are flipping lucky. Steve Bruce (a poor manager IMO) gets continuously backed with truckloads of money while our idiot owners sack a manager twice as good as him and then refuse to give his third rate replacement a penny. Every time someone comes available who I think we could show a bit of ambition and go for Venkys stand there scratching their backsides while you lot get straight in and sign them in a flash.

Brown is an excellent player, he has sometimes looked out of his depth at international level but he would be an awesome RB and a very solid CB, provided he stays injury free.

Gibson was a good prospect but I feel maybe abit lacking to be a regular at United.

My thoughts are similar to yours, regarding playing the Brown boy at right back - he's too small to be a centre half . . . . and I hope he's awesome, too
