Guys. Quit worrying about Carrick

Him missing out is a godsend to United

He's be made a national scapegoat for only having a 99% pass completion rate when England fail and let's face it this is England afterall.......

He'd probably be played on the left wing anyway so Gerrard and Lampard can get in

TOOR - out of physicality, mentality and technique, which two are the most important?

TOOR do you think England have been performing well the last few years??
----------------------------------------------
I think as well as could have been expected. However the World Cup was under par. But who knows what could have been with that little bit of luck which deserted them when Lampard's goals wasn't given.

As I said before, it's to be expected when there are teams just as good if not better than you, that you lose a game and go out of the tournament especially when it's one of said teams, you face.

It depends. An individual player? Which position? As a team? Which players are there at my disposal?

Just a general question. Let's say centre midfield, attacking or defensive? Both.

So England performed well in the group games?? You don't think apart from a short spell against Germany they weren't thoroughly outclassed?? How about the Euro 2008..I suppose you would just blame a bit of bad luck for not even making the competition??

In centre midfield, again it depends on who you have around you. As an individual, on International level, of course technique and mentality are important but so is physicality, especially in defensive positions, in defence or as the holding player of the midfield.

If you're gonna play with a Spain type system, having the players in abundance to do so, then physicality isn't needed as much.

I'm not blaming anything, I'm not English afterall. I'm completely neutral in this and thus I feel, my opinions aren't clouded by bias or more importantly, the media, who seemed to have brainwashed the public into believing England were world beaters and now into believing they're crap.

For me, not much has changed, England remain in the top eight in the world and with the country behind them, the fans AND the media, good things could happen with the country behind the team. The last time the country was behind the team was Euro 96 and I thought England were excellent and unlucky not to do better.

Cheers for not answering two of the questions and deflecting the last one. Very telling. And I'm not English either, so what??

Anyway, I've work to do.
