I know stats only tell half the story, but these just show that we haven't chosen players suited to international football.

I was willing to give Roy a chance but todays decisions are so hap hazard and all over the place he deserves to go already. I expected to be moaning about Gerard and Lampard both being picked but they're not even news, he's made so many other massive mistakes.

Blame the FA. Letting Capello go has caused all this. Capello stays and we don't get lumbered with Roy.

Hodgson also had the cheek to say rio was no longer international class he thought yet picks these players. Downing and henderson are barely championship class

Did Fergie pi55 Woy off in some way whilst he was Liverpool manager?

Serious question as he seems to be making some very starnge decisions regarding our players.

roy doesn't care about stats.

he cares about what fairies flying around his head say.

when he loses they hurt him, which is why he rubs his face. fact

Considering those stats I would like to know what the "footballing reasons" are Hodgson has talked about that sees Carrick not in the team and the rest in it.

Footballing reasons like they look better in football shorts than Carrick does perhaps? They're football boots are more expensive?

Scholes/ Carrick
Ox Rooney Young
Welbs

That would be a strong midfield and attack. That is what we could/ should be playing with.

Lots of energy, good movement, good mixture of experience and youth.

How exciting would that team be? I know there's a lot of Utd players in there, but is that a bad thing considering they are very good.

With this defence I'd be excited to watch this side...
Hart
Walker Terry Lescott Cole
Scholes/ Carrick
Ox Rooney Young
Welbs

Johnson or RIchards in for Walker as he is injured.
