Looks like Hill is trying to his transfer's done early as he suggested he would. Not sure about Matt Green though, it's one thing to bang them in against the likes of Kettering and Tamworth and Bath City, but I'm not sure if he'd be any good at Championship level. Maybe worth a punt depending on how much he'd cost.

Never got the point of rugby. Couldn't tell you the difference between league and union; please don't bore me with an explanation. Funnily enough, last night at Murderhell I noticed a book of rugby world records; must be the shortest book ever...record number of tries, lost teeth and cauliflower ears and that's about it.
Yes, greed is killing football, but it will survive and come out stronger so don't give up on it yet sparts. See you at Alfreton or Frickley in July

Poor lad's only just escaped Coventry and now you're trying to impose dingle land on him?

With Waghorn, Nugent, Beckford, and Vassell already on the books I can see why they require a non-leauge striker.
More money than sense Leicester. More money than sense.

Don't worry! We still have Dagnall!

Vassell and Steve Howard have been released. Worth a punt if we could afford the wages - Howard is capable of knocking in a few goals and Vassell on crutches would still score more than Davies and Dagnall...

Personally I think Davies is a decent striker compared to our other options I know he's a confidence player but if he's played centrally he will score goals as appose to being out wide.

Personally don't rate Davies. Yes, he got us a few goals but nowhere as many as he should have. For me, he doesn't get in enough goalscoring positions, cannot hold the ball up and bring others into play and my 4-year old has got a better first touch (and she's a girl...)

I still have time for Davies, but like most of our squad he is perhaps playing at a level too high.
The reason his goals dried up is because after the January decimation, we lost goal threats in Vaz Te, Butterfield and O'Brien. Davies was the only threat after January, and stopping one player is easy.
