Not what I thought it was like

I didn't realise before how many people were involved in running the club. Why are all these men like director of football strategy so important to the running of a club? I always thought you had a chairman who provided the money and investment and the manager who did everything else. Apparently not.

Oh the days when football clubs were about playing football. I was quite shocked at Whelan's comments that the heart beat has gone from the club and no one is in the boardroom. No fan wants to hear that. Not a nice picture really is it? Well I hope we get things sorted fast, this limbo we are in at the moment is dangerous and depressing.

whelan is a manschester united fan who talks a lot of rubbish.
what does he know about our club.
how does he know that our heart beat is gone,

I dont like the way he run to press to say that his manager is approached.

He's probably trying to cash in on any story he can find seeing as the transfer budget martinez gets is miniscule.

According to an earlier article, we've got a new director of communications which is a start at least.

I think that Jen Chang DOC story was a fake one, a joke started on the Anfield Wrap.

Its reported on koptalk, which is normally pretty accurate but maybe it is fake.

Just done a bit of Googling, some sources saying it's fake others saying it's real. Just have to wait for an oficial announcement I guess. Interesting times at Anfield.

Not trying to wum, but yanks have their business philosophy and it extends into sports businesses. They see sport as purely business, which is fine until things aren't working out on the sporting front. Their "passion" for a club will never be the same as that of the "fan". again okay as long as "success" is achieved. But they will hire and fire as quickly as they see "failure". Don't expect time to develop the young players into first team regulars, or a younger manager given "a five-year plan". Yanks stick by money, not their mates or principles. Lerner has been good for AVFC (and tbf, is probably one of the better yanks), Kroenke, and the Glazers--need I say more?
after the Hicks/Gillett fiasco, I'm not sure this lot will take you to a better place. Again, not wuming, just have a lot of experience in dealing with yanks-they don't think like we do.
