Retained lists are required by the football league tomorrow regardless of the stage of contract negotiation.

Coppinger told Ipswich he would move to Suffolk and there was no problem. Ipswich told him that he would NOT.

So who would you sell out of the 13 retained?
Well for starters I'd want Muzzy, Gillett, and Hird back! And I'd have Martis (Injury-prone, slow and not as good as he used to be) OUT, but the others are quite tough to pick!

Suspect some on the retained list will go, but only for a fee. Most of those released go with my blessing.

Most important to try & get back, Robert & Gillett. The rest Im reasonably happy to see the back of!

I don't think Martis will be going anywhere - he has another year on his contract and who's going to come in for him with his injury record? The best thing Deano can do is try to get him fit over the summer - if the club can finally get to the bottom of his problems, he could be a good asset for us or someone we could maybe sell or release by mutual consent in January.

No surprise from me James Hayter released by club because his legs already gone / little offer as player and good luck to him. I would like keep Hird and Baxendale if possible but not sure about Gillett.
