Junior and now the Yak want to leave. Hardly suprising news, but still a little tough to take.
The Venky's better not make the same mess of pre-season as they did last time. We were badly underprepared and lacking options for the start of the last season against Wolves.
We will soon need a game changing winger and a proven goal-scorer.

I can't agree with that skinovers. With the amount of goals the Yak scored, and the amount we scored this season we should've been easily mid-table, but Kean's tactically inept defence has cost us dearly imo.

Skinovers is right. Yakubu is immobile but he has scored a lot of goals which have only benefitted our cause this season.

Yakuba is a good finisher but being a striker is more than that just look at Newcastles strikers to see what real strikers do

For me everyone else can run around if it means the Yak stays and pops in 15+ goals.
Lack of strategy re defence and an inability of anyone else to contribute on the scoring front were to blame. Kean picks the team, coaches it and sets the plan- he is to blame.

But if Yakuba plays we don't have any movement ,you start defending from the front and Yakuba does nothing so if you play with 2 strikers 1 striker has to do Yakuba's running as well i don't like that idea

Can't agree with you skins, yes the Yak has too little movement but what do you expect from a striker costing £1.5m. To get the Papiss Demba Cisse's of this world, you do need to pay top dollar.
A skill of the real coaches of this world is the ability to get the best out of a team, including others to cover his work. Thats why Hoillet was a poor support, too selfish to be a proper team player - and it may have been better to look on Dunn even as a better support for the Yak with the pace of Olsson and Rochina feeding.
Anyhows on topic, the Yak will likely go. As mentioned elsewhere, it is a little rich for him to blame the uncertainty and weirdness surrounding the club after he publicly backed the manager and regime - not all of us have such an easy 'out' as you have engineered for yourself.

not sure what point you're trying to make. His movement must've been ok for him to score the goals he has. You don't score that amount in the premier league by standing still.
I think Yakubu is a hell of a long way down the list of people to blame for our relegation.
