Anyone else concerned by lack of transfers?

Josh will come through as long as he managed and developed in the right way. Even I can see his talent, so he must be good.

Physically he is not there yet in my humble opinion, and he is certainly not ready yet to become the fulcrum of the team, but if we want to win anything in the next two or three seasons,we need such a player now, we can't wait for Josh to become the player we all know he will eventually be.

Physically he's not ready yet. Against Marseilles he held his own against Diawara, who's huge, but he got bowled over a couple of times just because of his size. In that respect I agree with you. I also don't think he's ready to take on the mantle of main playmaker for the side, even though he hasn't given me reason to doubt him... It's just too much of a gamble and could potentially ruin his chance of succeeding with us.

Because he is only 18 and as i mentioned, i don't believe his body is fully developed yet, and he certainly needs to strengthen his upper body.

I think this maybe the reason so many Arsenal young players get injured badly. Yes they have been victims of some horrendous tackles, but I also think they have been rushed too soon for their physical capacity
