At the end of the day we win together, we lose together, and today we certainly lost together.
As hard as it may seem right now lets look ahead. We have an array of young talent who are going to be there or there about within the future, we have a new stadium on the way, a one of the most talented Spurs squad many of us have ever seen and most importantly we are a well run club which knows our limits which means we will be around challenging for the foreseeable future.
So lets lick our wounds, get a good preseason and come back stronger next year with or without Modric and Bale.
The futures bright, and lets just remember, every dog has his day. (even Rosie)
Heads up lads!

Being a well run club doesn't seem to get you anywhere these days though. Us and Arsenal are well run clubs yet are renowned for bottling it and not winning trophies. If you want to really challenge the lesson appears to be pumping millions into new players and wages, and sacking the managers if they mess up after a few months.

If RVP goes then hopefully they will be affected more than us by signings
Also we really should go all out in the Europa this year, we HAVE to win that trophy IMO.

Maybe Levy know something we don't - Chelsea and City can have the CL for now, but when the FFP accountants come calling..

I don't really get all this 'exodus' talk. Chances are it could be a Modric or Bale going and some deadwood. I sincerely doubt the floodgates would open and we'd sell everyone.

We're going nowhere, yeah itll be a bit harder with no CL but we all saw how good we were this season. We are capable of a good run next season.

I think it shows that we wont be AS good as we hoped in our signings. However will still EASILY be there or there abouts
COYS lets win the Europa!

Spurtle
I get what you mean but that is something we obviously cant do, so I suppose its a case of just look after ourselves unless we are put in that situation. All we can do otherwise is continuously plan for the future until our time comes eventually, right?

Not sure if you get this Josh, however surely after winning a CL you want to celebrate and not WUM?

Gav sure, but we could be looking at a long time in the future. That is if you're expecting us to truly challenge.
I just feel we've had 2 chances now to try and cement our place as a top club and we've blown both of them. The first was when we were above Chelsea last season and never bought anyone. The second was this season when we were 13 points in front, and never bought anyone (quality anyway). How many more chances are we going to get?
