REAL MADRID will move for Luka Modric after they offload Kaka to Paris
The Spanish champions want to land the Tottenham midfield star for £25million.
That is around £7.5m less than Spurs value their prize asset. But Real could sweeten the deal by offering Lassana Diarra in part-exchange.
French midfielder Diarra played for Harry Redknapp at Portsmouth before moving to the Bernabeu three years ago.
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy blocked a £40m bid for Modric last summer.
But the Croatian, 26, has yet to sign a new contract at White Hart Lane and says he will decide his future after the Euro 2012 finals.
If this is true then i would say ill do a straight swap Kaka,Not Diarra.

£25m plus Nuri Sahin and we might talk.
I would imagine that as rich as Madrid are, they might not do as much business buying from the EPL because of the weakening Euro.

Nuri Sahin is on the verge of signing for Inter.

I'm pretty sure Luka will impress at the Euros. Unless an good offer comes in then I don't see why we should sell yet. If anything £30m comes in then I think it needs to be looked at.

All newspaper rubbish. Modric is under contract still, so nothing has changed. Levy has played hardball and will do so again.

Depends on your definition of hardball. I can't imagine Levy intends to keep modric this summer and although that doesn't mean selling low, I think he will be less stubborn.

I doubt Levy will sell any of our better players, he knows it would be suicide. You have to remember Spurs finished the season clear of Chelsea, proving that we do have a stronger team, the league never lies everybody says. So he will be thinking we are not that far short, and surely our luck has to be better next season.
Chelsea may have fluked a win last night, but it is masking the fact that they are an ageing side now, and need a lot of new players in if they are going to challenge top four again.
The Chelsea win was similar to Inter Milans of a couple of years back, they ground out results to win the CL, but long term they are an ageing team that needs major surgery.

football stinks, we will never get a slice of luck i'm afraid. We just have to accept that as spurs fans mate, don't think next season will be any different because it won't mate.
