A big congratulations to my hometown club York City for beating Luton Town 2-1 in the Conference play-off final and gaining promotion to League Two. Well done, York!

I think, if you read my post I said drearies 'and' you and Highland white, I wasn't suggesting you were a dreary, you two are far from being that...!
PD I do live close to Gillingham, but they are not my hometown club, I do not post anything about Gillingham, Leeds United are, I was born in Halton (Leeds) and I have supported the club since the
sixties.
Re the comments by Jonty and the lickspittle LeedsSiouth, couldn't care less...

The very fact that you have commented means you do care.
Go & support Gillingham & leave this board for the real Leeds fans, you sad fraudster!

Can I just point out one thing here, at least I actually had the grace to congratulate your home town club's achievement, as did a couple of others (none drearies).
Didn't see Jonty or LeedsSouth do so...?
Hmmmmmmmm wonder what attracted them to your thread......? Was it to comment on the thread or to merely insult another poster...?

If you were to stop spinning & twisting things for one moment then you would understand Chorley.

A good point you raise about only people born in Leeds being the only folk able to support Leeds, not one I agree with nor am saying that in my original comment.
I was actually simply pointing out, in response to a fellow Leeds fan the idea that maybe, as York was his hometown, Leeds might have been a bigger draw to him because of their success and history than his hometown club York City. Which is why I said he was a glory seeker. I have never said he wasn't a Leeds fan.
I actually thought he might have got it and come back with something imaginative, sadly he didn't.
Perhaps the barb hit a raw nerve? Only he knows!!
The other Dilberts, Jonty and LeedsSouth, are so obsessed with abusing me they miss the whole point of the actual thread and go on the offensive to score dreary points.
They didn't even comment on the OP...?
Apparently when you get thirty dreary points, you can exchange them for a tennis lesson! But you have to wear all black and not smile.
