Still young enough to improve, we released Mulgrew at a similarly young age & he has come on leaps & bounds.

If Hooper left tomorrow it'd be natural for most to say he was a great goalscorer but wasn't the best all round striker etc.

Have we not had a belly full of maybegonnabes in the last few years.

We should be offloading about 12-15 dross players this summer and replacing them with 3 or 4 quality players as well as giving our own youth (Watt, McGeoch, George, Fraser etc) a chance. Doing that wouldn't even affect the wage bill.

If he is dross then I wouldn't be particularly happy no, but I am not Lennon or Lawwell so wont be making decisions on budgets & players.

We have Izzy, Mulgrew, Matthews, Lustig, Blackman as fullbacks - I'd say that was perhaps enough with Wanyamma & Ledley as possible cover.

If we were to sign a Leeds player who plays on the left I'd rather it be McCormack
