Right, here goes. Sick of seeing all this negativity (although some of it is justified), time to be positive! If you want, add your own reasons to be positive. Please, no negatvity, if you want to be all gloom and doom, create your own thread.
1) We have super, suuuuupper Marc, Suuuper, suuuper Marc, super Marc Albrighton.
2) Our new manager knows there is no 'settling in' period. Pressures on to perform
3) Every player knows he must perform to get a spot. No comlacency
4) We are sitting second in the league and still in all cup comps!
5) We have one of the most deadly strikers in the Prem in Darren Bent
6) We are in the Premier League (unlike the s(um)
7) We have an awesome stadium and it is not a garden shed (unlike St Andrews)
8) Lots of quality players with a point to prove e.g. Delph, Ireland, Clark
9) We don't have an owner who is facing court over fraud!
10) N'Zogbia, Given/Foster, etc on the way (hopefully)
Any other reasons? Remember, NO NEGATIVITY!
10 Reasons to be optimistic!

Yeah I agree mate. Both have the potential to really shine for us this season. We all know what Ireland is capable of and Delph has shown glimpses. Hoping they can do well, like you said, will be like 2 signings!

There's more. Clarke's a terrific player, capable of playing in a number of positions, and I think he'll only get better. Delfouenso hasn't had too many opportunities; I hope he gets them because the odd time he's played I think he's shown signs of real quality. Dunne and Collins have received some negative comments, but I think they were core to our revival at the end of last season, and with a good pre-season they should give us a solid start. Warnock's worth his place back in the fold, and Cuellar is still with us.

McParlandTheGreat, yeah, Warnock, the forgotten man! How could I not remember him. Hopefully its a fresh start for him and he stays on with us! I agree about Delfouneso 110%, he has a lot of quality, but he needs to be given more of a chance this season.

Convincing Downing to stay would help lift morale in the club too!

Abit OT but according to Mat Kendrick ( Villas man at the Birmingham Mail ) Ireland will be given the number 7 shirt and Bent the number 9. Apparently Ireland is having some sort of 'exclusive' interview tomorrow with sunday mercury, well thats Mat Kendricks words not myne.

I don't want the season to start; I'd gladly accept our current spot in the league! lol

More reasons. We've shed some dead wood, and we haven't signed Robbie Keane.
