I nearly fell off my chair yesterday to see that Sunderland had signed John O'Shea and Liverpool hadn't. Why didn't Kenny bid for this guy?
Here is a player that has won more Premiership, FA cup and Champions League trophies than the entire Liverpool squad put together. He can play at either full back position, centre half and midfield. He has a wealth of experience and fits the British "model" that Liverpool are following. Liverpools defense right now consists of an over the hill Carragher, awful Greek bloke, average Skrtel and Dan "fit for 10 games a season" Agger.
Liverpool have missed out on a fine player, a player that WINS big trophies!

You're right.
I just cannot believe it was only Sunderland that came in for him.
He'd have made a perfect replacement for Carlos Puyol.
Vidic must be happy now he's gone, he'll now be 1st choice for Utd.
Finishing his career far too early, reminds me so much of George Best.
Ah well, what might have been.
