GENERAL FOOTBALL FORUMS IN-DEPTH SURVEY

Hi guys, I've done an almost 3,000-word article on 'General Football Forums' which is much too long to reproduce here. Firstly it explains a little of the origins of the 606-service, then tries to piece together the reason of being of the many other general forums available to football fans, and with special interest for Championship fans (and Reading fans in particular – though of interest to all!), and how well these various forums reflect adequately or not the club we support, and which really cater for the fans.

Over 20 football fan forum sites were analyzed, and at the end JA 606 was regarded as the best forum despite being a novice – given the Number 1 rating! In case some of you would leisurely like to read more, it’s reproduced on the Reading FC Specialist site on 'The Tilehurst End'; here’s the link:
