Remember this guy? A year or so ago he wandered into Villa Park with a cheeky grin and a jacket so deplorable it was actually desirable. Typical Villa, we sign him, play him a few times, don't really give him time to settle, then loan him off. I never really understood this. He is a decent player, and next season we are going to need him more than ever, especially if Stan is still battling his cancer (touch wood he won't be). Herd is a prospect, and even though I want to be really biased as an Australian and say that he is ready, truth is, I don't quite think he is- yet. What are your thoughts? Are you hoping Makoun returns?

Yes, a player we need, he is a good player and also never understood why he was allowed out on loan, especially at his age...
Bring him back and play him..perfect replacement for Petrov although i hope he makes a full recovery

Strange one that! would like know why he didn't stay n fight for he's place rather than go out on loan because if he does come back and i think it's highly unlikely he will be back to square one.
waste of 2 yrs if you ask me.

typical decision from jimmy krankie, loan out our best passer of the ball, bring in injury prone bench warmer from the spurds and what a surprise, hes on the sick and were left to play the kids for the second half of the season.
