Lets take it for granted that there will probably be no big name signings ... except from the signing of arshavin and capture of podolski (who cost 5/6 million less then arshavin) when have arsenal been that club to spend 'modern day' big on well known players?
Exactly, so this talk of M'Villa for close to 20 million is madness, i mean we have song, coquelin and frimpong. Now M'villa is certainly better than coq and pong but its not as if either of those players are bad and still very young
So Kalou and Bosingwa on a free
Sagna has broken his leg for the second time in a season and knowing arsenal that means it could happen any amount more times with numerous set backs (ala jack wilshere) Personally i like jenkinson, but bosingwa on a free transfer to cover that position for sagna doesn't sound like bad business ...
And Kalou ... despite not really cutting it at chelsea he started the champions league final and has talent, maybe arsenal and wenger could work some miracles out of him ?
What do people think, and be nice... Fantasy will not be tolerated, so if your holding your breath for a Hazard and co you will probably be deleted, and then sent via rocket to the sun
Would it be that bad?

But why just buy players who are slightly better than what we have? In fact I could argue that both the Chelsea rejects are worse than what we have but that's a different discussion.
Forget that we finished 3rd. We finished 19 points behind the leaders. Yes NINETEEN. And we are actually happy after the season is over. Is this what we have been reduced to? Feeling successful after being mroe than 6 victories behind the leaders? And forget the bit about the horrid start to the season. next season is a new one, and we need to dramatically improve!

These two guys would probably cost Arsenal £5-6 million a year in wages alone.

We have about as much hope of signing messi as we do Hazard!
We do need to focus on quality even though it costs.
Wenger hasn't been able to turn any of his unknown or young signings in recent years into world class players.
I expect Arsene has held his hands up and recognised this, hence Podolski and others to follow. Not Hazard or the likes as we clearly can't compete financially or with the promise of trophies but we can still attract big names.

Ok Arsenal are a rival but I say this for your sanity, DON'T SIGN BOSINGWA! HE WILL DESTROY YOU ALL MENTALLY!

Exactly. If we think all is fine after that deplorable season, our standards have seriously dropped
