Rumours have been rife across various media outlets over the last couple of days that Jonas Olsson could be set to move to Spurs. Olsson plays best at Centre back but also can play left back and defensive midfield. Does that sound familiar?

I'm sure it'll just prove to be rumours but does anyone think that we could be considering Olsson because Vertonghen is looking unlikely due to the issues with the transfer fee? I hope not, decent player but no better than Caulker, Kaboul, Dawson or Gallas

all olson would do is stand in the way of caulker's progression.
if he is free and wants to be last choice cb then fine

He's not even a regular for Sweden, he can't be an alternative.
Maybe as backup for Benny, send Rose on loan to a prem team to see if he can cut it.

I think he's an ok player, but we're selling ourselves short if that's the intent we want to show through our transfers this summer.
