I remember when we were the only club linked to him and were trying to agree on a price. Wenger and the Board, being the cheapstakes they are, werent ready to pay the 15-20m pounds that would have gotten him. Rather they were interested in 'bargains' like gervinho and park. Worst of all we are still getting linked to unproven and talentless players. Look at Pardew, he didnt spend large amounts of money but we can all see the quality of players he bought...thats great scouting, something i know wenger is capable of doing but so far (gervinho,park,chamahk) hasnt done.

So far this summer we've been linked to M'Vila, Capoue, Hazard, Kagawa, Giroud, Belhanda, Yanga-Mbiwa, Vertonghen, Gourcuff.
Don't worry, it's early days. There's still plenty of time for us to be linked to lots more great players.
