As someone who cannot make use of a season ticket due to having work commitments on a number of Saturdays throughout the season I have to say I am disappointed with the new matchday pricing.
I am pleased the club has decided against its categorising of fixtures, something which was very poor last season but the club now wants to charge £28 per game.
I personally think this is a little expensive, at just £2 below the top rated games last season and do not feel it will encourage many through the turnstiles.
I can only see the crowds dwindling next season.

It will only cost you £28 once, after that every game you attend will be £25, as long as you can get a ticket in advance.
I appreciate that that is still very dear for many people but it will still be cheaper than most championship clubs. Also, the club have promised special offers throughout the season.
Bearing in mind that 80% of our attendance is made up of season ticket holders who get a good deal, I really don't know what else the club can do when our fans will demand championship quality players and many of our competitors will be spending 2 or 3 times as much as us on wages.
Of course, half a dozen clubs owe in excess of £50m and they might have problems if they don't cut back, so it's not all doom and gloom as some would have you believe!
We will be one of only a handful of clubs in the black. COYR.

Sad fact is that prices tend to go up wherever you look these day's.
It's a hard decision to make for the board, how do you keep the prices fair while trying to keep the club going? Long gone are the days when I used to pay £10-15 for a ticket, I still remember when we went up to the Premier League and the prices hit £20+ for the first time. In relation to other clubs an £8 rise over 15 years isn't too bad, works out at 53p increase a season overall, though I do agree that with the climate as it is that some fans may well be priced out of being able to make matches.
