selling the jerseys

watched the docu last night! i have to say i was majorly dissappointed in the standard of journalism on show from the bbc!
very poor effort!

a 1 hour programme with 1 single revelation - ie that d&p knew that whyte never had any cash, with the remaining 55 mins filled out with:-
fake french accents,
actors with rangers scarfs,
half an hour of the saddest rangers fan they could find living in his garden hut,
mocking background music,
old interviews,
opinion pieces from "experts"

i expected more from the bbc than this amatuerish celtic fan(mark daly)- having spent the last 6 months of his life working on this!

absolutely pitiful!

Total pash from start to finish.

"Revelations" that revealed nothing.

"Craig Whyte said Prince Albert was going to invest in Rangers" ...... they then proceed to actually phone the guy up! What a frickin waste of time! Everyone in the UK knows the guy is a total delusional mentalist by now. At least they didn't send a camera crew with Daly to Monaco, like they did the last time, just so he could stand in the same spot that Whyte had a photo taken.

PS - I did a stint in journalism in Scotland a decade ago - BBC Scotland and Real Radio. I was amazed how amateur it was compared to down South. Lazy, arrogant prima donna journos who spend more time on the phone to their bookie and turn themselves into Z list celebs than chasing a story.

There wasn't a lot of new stuff for 'internet bampots' but it did ensure that the scale of Rangers cheating is now known to a wider audience.

"its got you talking about it tho?"

Doesn't make it quality journalism though. Just basic regurgitated tabloid keich

in my own humble opinion there doesnt appear to be much doubt that the following is true:-
1. murray wanted rid of the club at any cost
2. murray used ebt's as inducements to sign players
3. d&p were aware of whytes purchasing strategy
4. the rangers directors were taking money out of the
5. whyte will face criminal proceedings

"Total pash from start to finish."

Summed up perfectly.

The 'reporter' should have stuck with his job at the Clydebank Post. He was punching above his weight even then.

I only watched it once not like some who seem to have it on some sort of loop....but I onlt rememeber Souness declining to comment and given the legal situation i.e. currently awaiting a verdict, why would they comment?

was it public knowledge that souness recieved an EBT 10 years after leaving the club and just prior to signing Tugay?

Was it public knowlege that murray never parted with his money and simply used the banks money?

was the duff and phelps revelations public knowlege?

is pishmael still a ragin' tranny?

more muckraking is the cry from govan..
