So where does this leave Konch? Can't see a player of Shorey's stature being content with playing second fiddle.

Can either play at right back?

If Shorey has got the attitude of wanting to walk straight in to a first 11, would we want him?

Did he actually play any football last season?

Was a top player. Has he had injury problems or just been surplus to requirements at the Baggies?

If you're without a club and someone offers you a decent deal at a club that hopes (thats hopes) to be promoted then I guess you'd be happy to sign even if it means playing second fiddle for a while. 2 decent left backs can only be good for the club and I doubt he'd be the mardy type as I'm pretty sure NP wouldn't sign him if that was the case.

Konch has been re-tweeting a lot of tweets from City fans dismayed at his potential departure, including one that directly attacks Pearson. Not the actions of someone who is content in the knowledge that he will be here next season, is it?

Seriously, if Pearson sells Konch, one of our three best players last season, I will be seriously angry. If you think I'm anti-Pearson now, you just wait....
