along with
Arsenal signing Podolski and being heavily linked with M'Vila whilst Spurs are getting excited about a defender plying his trade in Holland.

I would take Vertonghen, to be fair.
Having said that, I would want him for back-up, whereas he'd probably be first choice for Spurs, so we can't really blame him for wanting to go there.

We all love getting one over on spurs, but I'm not sure boasting about our transfer policy is the way to do it Best to focus on us being in the CL and them having to play on Thursday nights

his a good player Vertonghen he certainly is not in the dross category and will strengthen their team considerably just as Ade did and van der Vaart have done in the past. Better additions than Chammy and the incredible Park Chu Young.
Spurs lost 3rd place we didn't win it if you know what I mean. Don't write them off getting better if they can hold in to all their players.

No man, I just have a sneaky that Arsenal Wenger are not going to meet our expectations in the transfer market again and I'm sick of Spurs buying better players than us.
