I do wonder when we were last safe with 5 games to go. I don't think we were even safe with 5 games to go the previous season which was spent in the top half, until the last few games.

Without the injuries moses, I would have expected us to be midtable.

And finishing mid-table without injuries and being safe with 5 games to go is remarkably similar expectations isn't it?

Considering since Allardyce went our point have been, 37, 41, 39, 46, 36

I think that injuries had a clear effect, and realistically, with our average, due to Coyles first full season in charge, being 40 points, which those massive injuries, we've finished 4 points below average...do I think that's the effect of losing your best 2 players, aswell as the overall 256 weeks of injuries right there..

Well, I've been in contact with alot of community sides of football. Everton, Bolton, Wigan, United and Arsenal. Aswell as the PFA. And I've had meetings, visits, interviews etc and seeing these great initiatives is something I'd like to be involved in as it seems very fulfilling to be apart. Especially helping those with mental health issues and imagine your goals.

But scouting jobs and even moving into coaching have come up also. My dream was to use my contacts and build up further and eventually move into the agent game..but thats a pipedream. I'm in a good position to break into it..but for the time being I can practice on FIFA and Football manager Haha.

Yes ... we've been bobbins, as manager after manager has been nothing but a feint shadow of what we became used to ..what we came to EXPECT. Sam did us no favours really, as, after the very first Top 8 finish we had with him, everything was about how high up in the Top 8 we would finish the following season ..and the next, etc. ....and then he made things even worse by actually delivering the goods every season .... the Barsteward!!

He was always gonna be a hard act to follow ...but it's been really disappointin' how bad all the subsequent replacements for him have actually been.

But, we're now in a division where all of us can rightly expect us to be challenging for a top spot once again (and not just top 8, but top 2!). Let's hope for a rousin', excitin' season then, where losses are the exception, rather than the norm! We'll probably never be a Top 8 Prem team ever again, but that doesn't mean we should give up tryin' .......

So it's confirmed his contract runs until 2015. Excellent news.
