This technical masterclass from two wrestlers who incredibly never became WWF champ.
Such a shame to see a guy like The Miz hold the title when these two in-ring masters never got the opportunity
Just watch and enjoy

Mr Against the Grain - What a surprise.
You weren't old enough to watch these wrestlers.
Apparently your first wrestling figure was Randy Orton - you missed out on the silver age

Ah, Owen Hart and the British Bulldog, two of my favourites when I was a kid
I still rank Davy Boy as the best wrestler never to be world champion (tragically considering some of the wrestlers who have held the title).

Good video! I never realised British Bulldog was THAT good! I obviously missed the golden years.

What you have to remember is the prestige the titles had back then. Titles were commonly held for 6+ months at a time, these days Punks reign is the exception, rather than the rule. Miz is a former world champion but even people inside WWE wouldn't say he's in Owen Harts league
