Deal or No Deal?

The big guy has done well imo - deal him in if the fee isn't too high - whatever Pardew says his value will have increased while he has been at Celtic without question!
If no deal - get Westwood in.

deal. Got a feeling Newcastle will ask for too much though.

Pardew will ask for too much money for him and can't see them letting him go out on loan for another season imo?

Don't think Pardew will let him stay TBH. Anyway Shay Given for me - and this is part of the reason... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UzahFCzqiiw

I'm not sure that he commands his box well enough. Decent but not excellent. And I think that Spurs are interested in Given unfortunately.
I've not seen anything of the boy Westwood but heard his name bandied about on a few occasions. Who's he with?

Coventry and he is out of contract so we could sign him for nothing

i think hes been pretty solid this year. apart from a few blunders hes done well for a young keeper. and he will keep improving hopefully to be a good long term keeper.
if the price is right, keep him

he has done ok but the transfer fee may be far too high - i would not go more than £1 million for newcastles 3rd choice keeper.
i have been hoping they would sign westwood from coventry as he is free and always rated as best keeper in championship
