I generally have a realistic, verging on optimistic, outlook when it comes to spurs. So, with Hazard maybe becoming a chelsea player, heck, so might Hulk. Man City might sign even more international class calibre players. United will be their usual attractive selves to most top class players. Liverpool will offer big wages to attract whoever. The gooners will be better with a fit wilshere and poldolski IF they keep RVP. Everton will be competitive again next season.
We need a world class striker to keep pace with that lot! More than ever we need this as all the rest will invest and improve. We simply need a striker(s) to finish all those chances. LEVY PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!

Hope so Don. Cover for azza and bale would help too but mostly a striker who is selfish but better than Defoe at being selfish ie. Scores goals! Stays more central than Ade and is more physical than saha et al.

Chronic, i agree mate but there is 1 or 2 pretty decent ones that seem to have a good track record mate, 2 of them have come out and put his neck on the line saying "it's a done deal 100%, announced before weekend"
@ realistic, yes mate. I would be happy with that mate, we need a couple of strikers so we can start putting those bloody goals away next season.

Just watched 39 of Damiao's goals - if we get him I might actually do a little sexwee

Goals 8, 9, 25 & 26 look like just what we're looking for

Talk about a goal poacher! Mostly tap in on that tape... deadly from 4 yards out....
The funniest thing about that is that a tap in expert is exactly what we need.
Does anyone know if he can hold the ball up and bring other into the game?

add, exactly. How many times have we seen bale and lennon stick balls in only for either Defoe or know one in the box to smash it in We need a predator in the box and this leandro is perfect.

The way I see it his strength in the air, pace and finishing makes that pretty much irrelevant - we've got Bale and Lennon to keep up with the play, and VDV in support.
