You could try going through this list http://www.thepfa.com/ and suggest any players you fancy to the club you might earn a few bob as some(not sure about CITY) pay fans who suggest players who they then sign saves on scouting costs if your fans who are usually scattered around the country keep their eyes open for you.
ps just type in Bristol City Transfer rumours 2012 into google and choose which ever site takes your fancy, then Wiki the players names thats what I do if they are completely unknown to me then I can look up more info from other sources if they look interesting.
