The league in ROI is blatantly better than NI league....at the moment.
However, things were a bit different back in the days of the great Vinny Arkins.

Aw don't get me started on Vinny, my hero, one of the greatest to ever play in the irish league for sure.

But I've said for ages now that the LoI is better than our own and you can see it from the crowds they get, television coverage, quality of players etc etc. The Irish League gets no attention in Northern Ireland media except for when there are riots.
