If this is true would it put more truth to the fact it wasn't money with Ward but location.
If we couldn't fund Ward then how....

Could be that we have an embargo whilst due dilligence takes place.

Maybe we didnt rate him as much as that either.

I reckon we were trying to get a total bargain, and that the extra 400k was worth it in the clubs eyes. Glad we didnt sign him as Pompey went down for a reason
Minus their deduction they wlda finshed 18th again!!!!

WBa. You happy with Pearce then?

If Bates is leaving, he wont want to do us any favour, so out of spite he probably stopped all transfers

Pearce is a genuine talent, he is a master of his position so to speak, hi real value is at least 5 times what we paid. He is a ball playing defender, Ward is a utility man. Would rather have pure players with natural position strength.

There is no embargo, as it would be announced by FL etc. That is what has happened in the past, eg Coventry recently.
Also maybe they were unwilling in the end to buy Ward rather than unable. I simply don't know but if they changed their mind and went for Peltier instead then maybe they decided not to run with Ward.
All I am saying is minds change. Maybe they feel they want to wait to see the outcome of any negotiations that might be taking place.
Only a few people KNOW and we aren't any of them.
