BBC are reporting that Brendan Rodgers is very close to being confirmed the new Liverpool manager. I think he will do very well there and if they manage to get Van Gaal as their football director then they have a chance of finishing in the top4 next season.

it's different managing a big club, he got overhyped this season but still think he'll do well if he gets time.

He will do better without van gaal behind
Director of football never works in this country - Rodgers will want to be the boss he wont want his decisions undermined by someone with a better record

steady on we dont know who everyone is going to sign etc, bit too early to say they got a good chance, didn't everyone say that last season and look what happened

He doesn't stand a chance, he's largely unproven even if he has done reasonably well at Swansea. If Liverpool are outside the top 6 he'll be gone by Christmas.
