I dont think the speculation is actually truly over.
Indeed, it looks like Rodgers is on the verge of taking the managers position at anfield, but for me, the bigger question yet to be answered, is what is the structure of the club going to be after next week?
I truly believe, that without someone like Louis van Gaal coming into the club, alongside Rodgers, this could be the biggest risk the owners could have took.
If Rodgers is confirmed to be Liverpools new manager, I fully expect, and hope for that matter, that Van Gaal isnt too far behind him.

Hopefully the owners will be wise enough not to demand top 4 in his first season as that is unrealistic unless they are about to give him the cash to spend big.

stop saying rodgers plays great football as if martinez doesn't. needn't i tell you that it was martinez who installed the style of play that swansea now play. all rodgers has done is carry on the legacy that martinez left. martinez moved to wigan and changed their style of play completely from rubbish to actually pretty good.

sorry you can't say that we should get rodgers because he plays good football because martinez does it better so would therefore be ahead of him in the pecking order.

You clearly know nothing about Swansea, I was born there, stop chatting rubbish.

Swansea have played that way for years and it got them no where, Rodgers made them successfull.

Yes Martinez played his part but Swansea are better under Rodgers, no doubt.

Not true I'm afraid! Rodgers didn't take over from Martinez, so he can hardly carry on a legacy that was'nt there. It's Rodgers who has moved Swansea on by getting them promoted and implementing the system that they play.

If what your saying is correct, then whoever takes over from Rodgers at Swansea will just have them playing the same way! That's tosh!
