Just like last season nobody wants the job!
which is why we ended up with Eck the Relegator.
Its obviously a stinker of a job, otherwise why would Ole turn it down after showing initial interest.
Word is getting out that we have no ambition and need to trim the wage bill still.
Nobody with any credit wants to be known as the manager who took us down! Which is where we are going.
P.S. did anybody actually think Martinez wouldnt turn us down again? I for one saw it coming, and had a laugh when the bookies made him favourite.
Villa are not choosing the next manager, they are waiting for a managed to choose them! ANY manager!

Ole was interested because it's an interesting, challenging job; he gave a good reason why he dropped out. Martinez was a fair way down my list; my worry was that the rumours were true, and he'd get it instead of better candidates.
The top 4 on that list ARE better candidates, and there are others. We are doing OK.
