Parker has told Spurs TV thatit's been a successful season for both himself and the club? Obviously disappointment has taken away our excitement at how we've progressed but is it still too soon to be making these comments?

Parker right or wrong?

Scott Parker was right, Spurs did have a good season, no trophy admittedly, but Top Four was the aim and was attained despite being up against teams that have had constant CL for the past twenty seasons, inclusive of two teams that have both thrown a billion each at the project, Spurs finished a creditable 4th.
The club could not legislate that a team that barely had a shot at goal from the SF onwards would somehow manage to lift the CL and deny Spurs their well earned place.
Well done Scott for a great season.

Sorry it it's an unsuccessful season.
Regardless of previous seasons, our aim was CL football, not top 4 (top 4 is the aspiration because it xan provide CL football). We failed. Doesn't matter about the ifs and buts, the fact is we will not be playing in it next season.

You are 100% correct. Our aim was what 4th place supposedly got us. Not 4th place itself
In any other circumstances I would say we were unlucky to come 4th and Chelsea win cl, but considering the position we were in then we have ourselves to blame. When we were third redknapp said he would be disappointed to come below third. We did come below third so it's a disappointment especially considering how crucial third was this season

I don't even mind failure as long as we learn from it and improve as a result. Seemingly being active early in the transfer window seems a good sign.

Agree with above, this season will show everyone that top 4 isn't enough and we now need to be aiming at top 3. Also we can clearly see finishing above arsenal could become more of a reality. We obviously learnt a lesson from delaying the Parker and Adebayor signings and dropping 6 points early. At this moment I remain optimistic for the summer and next season.

Reality check fellas, we were gubbed 5-1 by City, 5-2 by Arsenal, 5-1 by Chelsea, which means there is still work in progress. We finished 4th, which any other season would have given us CL football.

Who have we signed ?
being active and signing someone are two different things..
I will wait to reserve judgement but would not surprise me if we are putting in bids at a quarter to midnight on Aug 31st
For Hesky and Adams ...............

Can't agree with anyone who says it was a sucess.
We wanted champions league football: We didn't get it
We were 10 points clear of arsenal in february: Finished behind them
We fought back from 2-0 away to city to level it up at 2-2: Lost 3-2
2-0 up against arsenal shortly after milan battered them 4-0 and been dumped out of the FA cup by sunderland: Lost 5-2
All over chelsea at the bridge: Drew 0-0
On top vs man united at home in the first half: Lost 3-1
See the common theme here? So close yet didn't get the job done. Sums up the season.
