If players resigned freely like managers...

Where would it leave our beloved Spurs.

Obviously the Lambert announcement earlier today was what inspired me to think of this scenario. Lambert is not the first manager to offer up his resignation and many have in the past been accepted.

In a world where resignations had to be accepted, would we benefit or suffer heavily?

Obviously we'd lose the likes of Modric and possibly Bale but we could have had Hazard and Vertonghen already signed up with both having expressed a desire to play for us over the last 6 months.
