Most Annoying Fans in the Top 6

Part 2

3. Newcastle United

You would've thought that fans of a club that had recently been in the second division to be modest about their sudden rise. Not the Geordies. They've always had something about them that's makes them seem like they think they deserve top club status. I was shocked to see the fans booing Andy Carroll on his return. Fair enough Enrique after what he said about them but Carroll? A man forced out of his beloved club because the size of the transfer fee that he was bringing. He loved the club but the fans are ruthless. Plus the fact that most believe they're a bigger club than Liverpool after being higher in the table than us after one season. Annoying.

2. Chelsea

Probably would be lower down the ranking if it weren't their recent success but still it's undeniable that Chelsea fans are annoying. A lot I've met are horrifically arrogant about their club and a lot seem to be very stubborn over their views. All in all I have never had a reasonable discussion/argument with a Chelsea fan. With their recent cup wins they've gotten pretty bad. Very few I have spoken to have even toyed with the fact they were lucky to win the Champions League and some have now been calling for Guardiola over Di Matteo. It might just be a stereotype that the whole of Chelsea are just an arrogant bunch if thugs but they've done little in my view to show any redeeming qualities.

1. Arsenal

The inspiration behind this article. Arsenal fans never cease to anger me with their attitudes. Whether they're raving about the next big youngster, moaning about Wenger or complaining of winning any trophies there never seems to be any joy out of Arsenal fans other than to mock other fans for their downfall. I have had Arsenal fans saying that Ryan Smith with be a future England star. I have had Arsenal fans saying 'Fabregas would never leave... Clichy would never leave... Van Persie would never leave...' Everytime I just say 'Uh-huh cool whatever you say.' I'm constantly bombarded with Arsenal fans saying they're saying they're signing every player under the moon from Higuain to the next biggest star. The hot and cold attitude with Wenger frustrates me. I have huge respect for the guy, much more than some Arsenal fans on occasions. He loses a few games 'He has to go'. He beats a top team 'Hail Wenger'. Arsenal fans are the definition of fickle. Another thing is they constantly moan about lack of trophies yet their targets are clearly the PL and the CL yet they mock Liverpool for going for the Carling cup over an average league position. Wow great so you're going to be second-best in every competition every season. Feels good doesn't it. My last point is a personal experience that I've had. With my Arsenal fan friend I decided to go to one of their games seeing as it was free (I believe it was against Villa a few years ago not sure). Arsenal found themselves 3-0 down but by sudden magic they pulled it back right at the death. The reaction? Nothing. There was simply mutters of that's what we should expect, we should've won etc... I was shocked at how despite an amazing game both sets of fans were left disappointed, fair enough for the away team but the Arsenal fans felt like they deserved more because they were Arsenal.

Mini-rant over. I'm not saying Liverpool fans aren't as bad (I'd probably position them between 3rd and 4th) but I just wanted to give you my view.

Apologies if I had offended any fans. I am always up for a decent football discussion so don't think of me too badly just simply my current views on the fans. I'm not saying this will always be my view I'm willing to change my outlook if I feel it's necessary.

Oh and Arsenal fans, remember it's all in good bant, some of my closest friends are Gooners fans .

Thank you and good night.

To be perfectly honest with you my dislike for Arsenal and Chelsea is more of a personal matter.

In fairness there's good and bad people in every club (except maybe Millwall).

Oops another stereotype...

I'd say Liverpool and Spurs are the worse. Liverpool fans are always going on about how they were good once upon a time...

your comments about newcastle laughable

when have we ever said we are a big club? Yes we expect our team to do better than relegation battles considering 50,000 of us turn up every week to watch them and spend a lot of money, but many of us have been overwhelmed about how well we've played this season
and carroll, a geordie, who wanted his wages doubled and when we rejected it handed in a transfer request
and we say we're a bigger club than you because it annoys you
