Just two thoughts

Firstly, regarding Afellay for 6 million from barca. Regardless of whether or not this is a silly rumour or where it came from, Don't barca still owe us around 6 million in unpaid fees from henry, hleb etc? Not sure if they have paid that back yet? Now i think of it, it seems mad that they wouldn't have or been allowed not too, but last I heard they owed us some money.
So Afellay on a free Maybe not, but if anyone could clear up that outstanding transfer money issue

And secondly, picture this rather hilarious whilst tragic scenario ... England have a terrible Euros (I know, it is hard to even envisage such a thing) And Woy receives the Anfield treatment again ... so the media turn to their original favourite, old red face, and spurs season gets derailed once again as hodgson quits England after a bad tournament / media pressure and after prolonging the circus and a massive spurs slump Arry finally quits and takes up the england job.

Not that I want England to lose or even Roy to fail or anything ... it is just the more i think of that scenario the more it appears to be a real possibility.

Woy will always have the pressure factor of 'arry being the peoples choice, even though I didn't wobble chops anywhere near the team.

Sadly, I do not see it ending well for him, but I could see that scenario happening. And then I shall laugh

If this is true can you not take some sort of legal action against them?

Afellay is decent, probably better than any of our wingers right now, but he's just come back from a long-term injury and we have more pressing concerns. We need to sign a midfielder/defender before we sign another winger.

Ideal player for the Mighty Arsenal. Horrendously injury prone, undergone compilcated knee surgery, seven months out last term

He's our boy.
