Rodgers Appointment = LAC

i actually feel sorry for Carroll. was great for newcastle but will always be tainted by that ridiculous price tag he cannot hope to live up to

Is it just me who thinks this is a terrible appointment for both parties?

Rodger's is scarcely proven after one season in the EPL, Hughton was higher up the table (for what that's worth). Can't help but feel if he's not in contention he'll be gone by Christmas

I thought Graham got a lot of undeserved praise. The one thing I felt Swansea lacked was that bit of quality up top able to score and create.

Don't get me wrong he does a job and works hard, but he lacks quality, just like Carroll. I'd imagine Rogers is licking his lips at the though of managing players like Enrique, Johnson, Suarez, Downing who are all very good players on the ball and he'll have Gerrard who can play a killer pass which Swansea have also been lacking.

I think he'll need to offload a few mind and bring in a different mentality. Carrolls biggest problem has been the fact he doesn't like to play football the Liverpool way, I can only see it getting worse under Rogers.

I'd imagine it'll be 4231 with suarez and downing on the wings and gerrard in the hole, all feeding carroll.

with crosses from downing, through balls from suarez and deflections from all gerrard's 30 yard punts, i reckon he'll break 20 goals next season.

I hope he leaves too. He only started playing when the Euros came calling and only looked good on the end of a long ball although his touch has improved recently.
