This year's European championships are a welcome distraction from the transfer sagas which will undoubtedly blight our summer.
I don't have any ties with the Championship's teams as I am Welsh so I usually just enjoy the arrogant media circus following England grind to a disappointing halt. However I do like Hodgson so I hope they don't get humiliated. I think it will be a very entertaining championships as there a few teams with little to separate them. There are also a fair few Arsenal players scattered around the favourites who will be interesting to watch. I think Germany will be the eventual winners after a final with France with Spain and Holland being the other semi-finalists. Think Poland could give everyone a shock and go quite far with the home support and also a couple of decent players including Lewandowski and Szczesny.
It'll also be nice to see Ireland give it a go at a major tournament. So in summary I am very much looking forward to the Championships, the summer is always a disappointing time to be a gooner so it's nice to have a distraction!

Mostly agree, but I can't see France going that far.

If France play Kos and Clichy over Mexes and Evra then I think they are genuine contenders for the tournament. The problem is that Evra and Mexes are captain and vice captain respectively.

No one expect France to go that far, Blanc himself said that their main target is to reach the quarter!
But at the same time, that's when they perform the best, when no pressure!
No one expected them to reach the final in 2006 but they did (fair enough, it helps when you have Zidane in the team).
I'd put a pound on them if I was you!

No you wouldn't, if you were me you'd abhor gambling and not risk a shiny pound.
