Reading the Birmingham Mail and in particular the comments by Chris Hughton.
He has stated he will talk to every player by the weekend and will have a better understanding of the squad when he had done so.
He stated very clearly that "not one player had asked to leave"
That's it. From the horses mouth.
So no more bullshat about everyone wants to leave.

Anyone know any good boards for taxes and death?

I stand by what i said....
That is i dont think any palayers are really doing a N'Zogbia/Tevez so maybe none had said they want out.
But you can not blame any players for not turning down a chance to leave for Prem Football, Sadly its a fact that for a player 75% of the Prems Clubs are a much better proposition to us.
Also i dont know if all of you on here, actually realise the potential cash flow problems if Yeung has his assets frozen, so even if he is worth £1BL if he cant spent it then its no use to us.
We do not know what income the club will have to run off, certainly Parachutes and Season Tickets and also Sponsor deals.
But we need to remember running a Football club is not simply about paying the Wage bill of the players.
So not even taking into acount the loss of Prem Income.
If the club have £0 money flow from Yeung and the board of share holders, then it would be most likely that some players will have to be sold as to allow the club some cash flow.
Looks now that Jerome and Dann wont be off to Stoke because they have signed Woodgate and could be looking at geting Cole signed as soon as possible.
There is never any real information on what is going on, all we get is EVERYTHING IS FINE..... Once certain thing that could show there are problems would be when/if players are sold for cheap prices.
i.e if Dann goes for £8-10M, Johnson £6-7M, Foster £6-7M and Jerome £4M
That would show club are desperate to sell because they dont have money to invest in the club.
If we hold out and do not sell for cheap or reject bids unless they are high, then that would give us more confidence that finances are not a mess.

Good morning banjokid how sure is anyone that BIHL and CY finances are bound together. What I mean is it is known that Yeoungs assets are or will be frozen and does that include the company of BIHL. If that gets frozen too as the parent company of blues that would put us in the same position as Portsmouth a couple of years ago. Look what happened to them.
Another question to anyone who can provide an answer. If the assets are frozen including BIHL can an invester come along and still buy the club fromCY. Or are we basically a closed shop until his situation is sorted out by the HK courts.

Thats the thing we may never know.
I would assume that if Yeungs assets are frozen then that also means he can not make money/sell his shares at that time.
I dont think it applies to the other shares, so if some would be investor wants to purchase 50% of the company all they would need to do is get Yeung to aprove such action and then a investor could buy 50% of the shares (but not Yeungs) so as that potentiall it could look like this.
Yeung 29%
Investor 50%
Share Holders 21%
In the above scenerio this would be investor would be able to buy a majority of BIH become the majority share holder and then run the company.
This would need Yeungs aproval, then at a latter date Yeung could sell his share or if the HK Banks/Goverment seize Yeung share they can then sell that on to the wouldbe investor.
Off course no other investor is going to buy us, well not yet so above is only a example of how we could come out of a sticky mess.
At the moment Yeung owns the club even though he has only 29% shares he is the one decides what goes on, so while his assests and cash are frozen and while the oter share holders remain silent/not involved in the running of the club. We are in a very awkard predicament indeed.

Unfortunately, the devil will be in the detail. If anyone knows any shareholders, then please ask them, they should know.
No disrespect to anyone, but the only place I see doom and gloom about our finances is on this board. We've been relegated, we're bound to have less money like any relegated club. I don't see the CY issue as a problem. I don't think he would have invested that much more of his personal money into us anyway while we are in the Championship. I mean it's not like we are going to be buying Premiership strikers is it?
The time for investment would be when we are back in the Premier league. In the meantime CH has to build a good enough team to get us there, and as our own history and other clubs has shown us that is not that hard to do. There is always a glut of top quality Championship class players. That's why is so tough at the top (I know this is a contradiction to what I put earlier, but you know what I mean).

Yes but there has to be a certain amount of investment to have any chance of promotion.

& Ferguson and Johnson are off. Original poster seems to be taken in by press statements. Mind Ferguson said a couple of weeks ago that he wanted away. So far too many players, owners and managers choose to leave Blues. No one will get to grips with that reality, let alone get anywhere near to fixing it.

I remember Ferguson saying he would be willing to stay at the club and Foster aswell.......
That was untill McLeish walked, chances are after that Ferguson would not have wanted to stay, and reports are he is not happy to stay.
I cant blame anyone for wanting out under the circumstances.
