Aussies may boycott England tour.

There's a possibility that a dispute over money may end with the Aussie players refusing to come to England.
Clearly they are demanding danger money to face our fearsome bowling attack which is perfectly understandable.
Of course it may simply be they are fed up of getting regular drubbings on our soil.

Also if a tournament which has no test cricket is pointless, a world cup win is just boring.?

Correct, that world championship is also a waste of time. This format will be gone soon anyway

Neon, come on, you're having a laugh.

In what way is 5 odis played between two teams remotely similar to a WORLD Cup.

Don't exactly get your point about England fans celebrating odi victories...what do you expect? Winning is happy days

I see now there's a problem with the NZ series clashing with the IPL. The tentacles of this competition are infecting the international scheduling as feared.

Lack of common sense by governing bodies is effecting players commitment to their country

They have only themselves to blame...

Does anyone care about this series anyway?

I doubt they'll actually boycott anything, one or other will cave, hopefully CA.

Dunc, I hope they do boycott the event. I can't say I have any interest in it whatsoever, and that is saying a lot seeing as your boys will be our oppostition.

It's strange how different we human beings are. The Indians would love a tournament like this.

I dont know what Boycott's going to be doing with the Australians exactly, but does this mean he will no longer be appearing on TMS ?

I see the calls for a window in the international calender for the IPL are being pressed once again. As we are probably the only country who would be greatly affected, we would lose the vote at the ICC. It would be setting a dangerous precedent if it should happen because everyone could start wanting their domestic T20 competition to have a window.
