Is there no way that we could convert Eboue to play DM. He has pace to burn and plays in defence, so could easily intercept, tackle, and provide short passes to more creative players in midfield and beyond.
We seem to have several players who sit on the sidelines a little too much who could be given more challenging and fulfilling roles rather than just warm benches. He could be given opportunities with the reserves to see whether this might work, and give him a new role instead of playing in advanced positions which seem to test his passing ability at times. Could be just what he needs.
Eboue as DM...?

Always wanted to see him as a striker he would leave most defenders for dust

Second that, he's a fantastic attacker, good skill, quick, can think on his feet and can score.
Would love to see him if not as a striker, then sitting just behind the striker

What about Eboue as the next arsenal manager?

I've always thought of the defensive side as one of Eboue's weak points. He gets skinned by wingers all the time, caught out of position, and tends to dive too much when he loses the ball.
He can be good going forward, but as a DM? No thanks.

Works for Busquets! I'm not sure if he does much of anything else.
